Today the wandering cake turned up together with the socks &  flynet.   However there are no flys on England & the net will not be required, nevertheless it was very thoughtful of you.

Your note enclosed therein explains the green part which we had to cut out & commit to the dirtbox.   Eileen's breath can't be improving of late, poor Bob.

This place is getting worse than Liverpool for staleness - we are camped in the centre of historical places, in fact under the shadow of Stonehenge but we have seen them all & pass by them on every route march or I should say sight seeing excursions.

If this offensive keeps up we are likely to be sent to France soon as they are continually sending Australians over now.

The weather here is glorious but it is beginning to get dark of a night lately.
