I don't think I will be able to do anything in the examination line. All that seems to have fallen through. Repatriation seems to have unsettled everything. Everyone wants to get home 'toot suite' & I wouldn't be surprised if I were on my way home before you can answer this letter. I have received two more parcels lately from mother for which many thanks but I don't think it worth while sending any more. They would probably never reach me & anyhow the war is over & we do not want for anything except leave. The club is still living well. We are well dug in at Madam Pecquiry's place & she acts as mother & cook to us - she is some cook too. Andre the daughter is the life of the place & we are general farm hands for her. They are very interested in Australia & Australian girls. They think Australians are tres distingué
