I saw in the paper under "Social" that Mrs Frank had got us something in aid of the 9th F.A. Comforts Fund & realised £23. The other day the unit received £15 worth of chocolates from the fund. It was supposed to be spent in condensed milk for us but as the price of milk was prohibitive they got chocolates & very nice too.
I am very glad the book of Symphonies has turned up. Jean was telling me Myra thought I ought to have sent it home. I didn't want to give it away altogether - you see for what's Jean's is mine - or will be very likely.
You haven't told me yet whether Jack's birthday present turned up. Posted it on 8/5/17 & it should have arrived by his birthday. It was a model of a Fritz helmet
