letter. I would like to know exactly what you did receive round about that time as I sent such a lot of things from Paris & I would not like to lose any of them. I am glad Jack's aeroplane got home because I was very keen on that myself. It must be a great novelty. I was going to send Myra home something for her birthday but we have not been near a town for a long time. I will remember Granny & Gwen & Glad next time I get the chance. I am sending back the picture from the cutting you sent along as I think it is the exact place we were stationed at in our first stunt in October last. It is the dead spit of the place - the pill box & the swamp in the foreground & will give you some idea of the kind of country we had to drag stretchers through & the mess shells make of the landscape. I would like you to keep the picture for me. I am trying to get a copy of the London Mirror some time back containing an official photo of stretcher
