Dear Sister

Am still having a fine old time here in England wandering about the beautiful villages, fields  & lanes. There is no doubt that England is certainly what it  cracked up to be. The scenery is wonderful on every route march we pass through long lanes lined by beautiful tall birch &  elm trees looking absolutely like a fairyland scene on a pantomine. We go out after tea in the long twilight looking for photos but generally the weather is unfavourably dull & we have only a few as yet. In any case photos can not even suggest the beautiful colour in the foilage
