This locality also is noted for its forest of pine trees - our motor ride took us through these.

We arrived back in Salisbury about 8 pm had supper & trained back to camp.

A couple of days ago we shifted camp from under the shadow of Stonehenge right on to the top of a hill from where we have a fine view of the surrounding country which looks at present like a huge garden it is so green after the rain but quite different from Australian country scenery.

I wrote a couple of days ago to Mr Reeves to try & arrange to draw money if necessary through him from Mr Dunhill's firm. I will let you know if I have an occasion to draw & how much.

Have not received a reply from Mr Reeves yet but  no doubt he will only be too pleased to advance me what I might want. I wonder that I haven't been short before this & it is marvelous where 2/- a day will take you.

We have seen a good bit & never have dinner under 3/- a time & have a good many taxi rides. Of course food is very dear in London - you can't get a three course dinner under 3/- & nothing comes near Farmers for the money
