very keen on me visiting his uncle Dr Walton Davies when I go to London. Dr Walton Davies is some hit in the musical line in London - great organist at the Temple Church. He will show me over the old Temple Law Courts & put me on the track of some good music. This chap here plays the 'cello & we have often appeared as duet or trio with a singer at our concerts. Since we took over the line - three days ago - we have had to get rid of the 'cello & piano. The officers have a piano in their mess & this chap wants me & our singer to give them some music one night. Seems to have taken a bit of a fancy to me - wants to take me out aiding with him & lends me books. But I have to refuse some things - it is policy in this case.
