[Page 1 of letter missing]

The kneecaps were pretty good but are just too late now, it is getting warm again. I must write & thank Olive Andrews when I get a bit of time. I will tell you what to put into parcels if you can get hold of the different things. That tinned camp pie - it is a great favourite - asparagus - tinned sausages - rex cheese & of course the cake. These are the luxuries of course but any old thing else to fill up the tin. Don't send tongues I am not too keen on them but the tinned soup or anything like that is bon. The camp pie & sausages take the bun though - you can send any amount of them. Jack has just received a couple of parcels & we have made a great hole in them. I have also received your letters Nos 31, 32, 33 & Jack's little letter & the enclosed cigarette cards. Tell him - oh I will write a little note to him myself & enclose it. So I have everything including letters & parcels & papers up to date. Also got that little parcel of Jeans with the socks. I am glad you got the little souvenirs - they were sent through the civil post - but that is prohibited now so anything else in the future will be censored.
