P.S. Received a letter from Miss Crabbe. She is going to France - gone by now - to take up canteen work at an Australian canteen at "La gare du Nord" (north railway station) Paris.
Just received letters from Dad & Elsa (3/9/16), the latter enclosing photos of herself & Jean - Jean in uniform. They are both fine.
I did not think Jack would have to enlist as Dad says as one of the exceptions stated in the circular issued to us was "only sons".
It would be rather a decent idea to let "Donacis". The whole family will be touring then.
Rumoured that Lille was captured. We are going over soon I think.
