Wednesday 14 March 1917
Up at 9. Very foggy day. To the aerodrome but no flying in morning. Busy signing the log books. Got the engine back into the bike. After lunch back to the aerodrome. Went up for 5 minutes to test the BE2C. The weather was far too dud for flying. Instructed on the bomb dropping gadget till 4.30. Back to the "Dell" for tea. Stayed in during the evening.
