Wednesday 24 January 1917
Up at 9. Another clear frosty day. Went up at 11.10 with Burrell. Took 15 photos – all good. Saw a lot of Huns. No "archie". Landed at 1.10. Loafed in afternoon. The moat is frozen hard. Walked round it & the ice bore well.
Cable from home. All well. The Christmas presents have arrived.
