Thursday 14 June 1917
Very misty in early morning. Up at 9. Gave Hyde a lot of dual at 5500 above the clouds. Gave Moir some landings. Moir went solo in evening & did splendidly. Gave Hyde some dual landings. Went off about 9.30 in search of a machine which had been seen to land but could'nt find it. Landed about 10 p.m. Did over 4 hours flying during day. Left aerodrome at 10.30 & came back for dinner.
Dear old Bryan is in hospital with a sprained ankle. Thank God he is all right.
