Thursday 20 September 1917
Up at 8. After breakfast to aerodrome. Very windy & cloudy. Caught the 12.40 to London. Arrived at 9 Porchester Terrace in time for tea. Old Bryan is looking very well in spite of many trying adventures. All went to dinner at the Trocadero where Major D'Apice joined us. After dinner went to see "The Boy" at the Adelphi – a very good show. W.H. Berry was splendid. Actually got home by taxi ! Met old Garland at the Adelphi.
