Wednesday 29 August 1917
Another hopeless day. No flying possible. Spent the morning at the aerodrome after the 9 o'clock parade. In the afternoon wrote letters. Went to dinner at the C.O's house. Back to bed about 11. Winkley is back from France with heart trouble. Sanders has gone away.
