Monday 8 October 1917
Up at 8. Made frantic efforts to get off with the formation to Oxford. Engine cut out on a Fighter getting off but managed to land in the aerodrome. Rained heavily from 12 o'clock onwards. Sat on a Court of Enquiry in afternoon.
Wrote letters after tea and again after dinner.
