Sunday 1 April 1917
Up at 6 for early flying. Just got to the aerodrome as heavy snow began to fall! Went to 8 Mass at Wallington. Back to the aerodrome after breakfast. Fairly clear but windy. Winkley turned up about 12 with Miss Beatson. We went to lunch at the Greyhound in Croydon & came back to the aerodrome after. Went up in the BE12A. After tea went back to aerodrome. Tested 12A again.
