Tuesday 13 November 1917
Up at 8. Very thick mist all the morning. Went round the flight to pick up the threads of the work. I'm afraid my assistant instructor Kennedy is going to be a little difficult to get work out of. The mist cleared a bit in the afternoon so I took up several of my machines & tested them – not a very brilliant lot at present but I think they can be much improved. Yarned after tea with Wren & Kennedy. To bed early after dinner.
