Up at 6 & drove to Victoria with Bryan & saw him off by the 7.35. God bless & protect him. Aunty, the girls & I returned by tube to breakfast. After breakfast I went to the Bank, then to arrange Power of Attorney for Father. Sent Cablegram for Aunty. Went to Spratts to get biscuits for the day. Then to Junior A & N & bought shoes etc. To Maiden Lane Church to Confession. To Cox & Co. Tried on uniform at Cooling Lawrence's. Bought new trench coat at Selfridges. Sent cigarettes to 1st Field Ambulance. Back to Porchester Terrace at 2 p.m. Had some lunch but could not get a taxi so missed the 3 train. Caught the 6 train & arrived Rendcomb at 9.30. A splendid four days leave.
