Up at 8. Busy all the morning moving to A.R.S. [Aeroplane Repair Section ?] sheds. Very stormy day with frequent rain showers in the morning. Made a short flight on BE. In the afternoon it cleared a bit. Went up for 20 minutes in a Fighter & did four loops. After tea took Arniston up in a fighter & did two loops & a spin from 4000 to 1000. Went to Barnsley Rectory with Coxon & Curtis to dinner at the Vidals. Had a very cheery evening. Danced and played various mad games till 1.30 a.m.!! Back to the aerodrome to bed about 2 a.m.!!!
