Saturday 13 January 1917
Breakfast in bed. Up about 10.30. Loafed all day by the fire, wrote some letters.
My ears are very stuffed up with cold – I think I'll go to the C.C.S. [Casualty Clearing Station] & get them syringed out tomorrow.
