Friday 7 September 1917
Very misty all day. Some flying in the morning. Went to Oxford with Pethy in afternoon before tea. In evening gave A.J. Clarke more dual. He is quite hopeless & ought to drop it. In evening had dinner at Buols with Pethy, Durward, Buck, Padre Stott & Graham. Broke up the camp on our return about 11.30.
