Thursday 25 October 1917
Up at 8.30. Bitterly cold and blowing a gale all day. No flying. Spent the morning in the office. Slept from lunch till tea time. Loafed in the evening. To bed fairly early. Cotton-Minchin has been wounded & Winter & Turvey are missing.
