Wednesday 24 October 1917
Up at 7 for early flying. Took up a Bristol & dropped a note to Miss Vidal who goes to London today. Went up again later on and had a scrap with Sgt. Everix. Started to rain about 12. Loafed all the afternoon till tea time. Wrote letters till dinner. News has come that 62 squadron are to go back to a training squadron!! Now I may be sent overseas at any moment! Segrave arrived back from leave.
