Saturday 9 June 1917
Up at 9. Nothing much to do during the morning as there were no new dual pupils & no machine for first solos. Goldie broke an undercarriage. A Curtiss landed in the ditch & turned over. After Colonel Dowding & Col. Joubert came just before lunch. Gave Annesley some dual for an hour after tea. Left aerodrome at 9. After dinner drove to the R.F.C. Club at Oxford with McKechnie to find "Bull" Durham but he was away on leave. Elliot is going & I am to get "C" Flight, probably in a few days.
