Wednesday 7 March 1917
Up at 9 & to aerodrome after breakfast. Very cold windy day & a little snow. Busy all the morning on log books etc. Back to lunch. Gave a lecture in the afternoon on the Care of Engines etc. Mary & Bryan rang up. Bryan didn't get his orders & so does not go till tomorrow. What great luck!
Went to London by the 7.10 and met Aunty, the girls & Bryan at the Howard Hotel & had some dinner. Then off with them to see "Some". It is as good a show as ever. Said good bye to Bryan & bolted to catch the 11.40 at Victoria & walked home from Waddon. May God guard & preserve dear old Bryan.
Cable from Father.
