Friday 9 February 1917
Up about ten. Breakfast in my room. Loafed all day & collected some of my belongings. Had a farewell dinner. The General, Colonel Carthew, Major Lyon, McCoy, Waldron, James, Sisley, Pockess, Harris, Roberts & all the flight. A very cheery evening. Everyone was awfully nice.
Got another home mail. Wonderful letters from Mother, Father & Eileen. They are simply grand! Very nice letters from lots of others.
Letters
From: Mother, Father, Eileen, Aunty Mary (2), Aunt Jeannie, Bess, Babara, Hilda, Gilbert.
