Slept late. Up at 10.30. Went of shopping & bought goggles at Herbert Johnson's, books etc. Lunch at Regent Palace. Taxi to 20 Yeomans Row & had my photo taken by Beresford. Dashed round doing more shopping. Went to Confession at Maiden Lane. Taxi to Burns & Oates and bought beautifully bound copies of The Garden of the Soul & The Imitation of Christ as present from Eueen & Peter. Back to Porchester Terrace. Aunty & the others went off & I waited for Margaret who was late. We met the others at Les Gobelins for dinner. Ellie Vinogradoff came with us. Went to see "The Maid of the Mountains" again & enjoyed it as much as ever. To the Regent Palace for supper & then home by taxi.
Met old Drew in Bond St. before lunch, and Leake in the afternoon.
