Slept very late & had breakfast in bed. Got up at 11.30!! Bus to Bond St. Bought a pair of goggles & took theatre seats. Met Leake. To Cox's & then to Spratts & ordered a fresh supply of dog biscuits. Back to lunch at Porchester Terrace. Mrs. Vidal to lunch. After lunch off to look for a room at a hotel fairly near to Waterloo Station where I have to catch the 5.50 a.m. train tomorrow!! Took a room at the Loudoun. Bought photo albums at Kodaks. Tea at Fullers in Regent St. Taxi to the hospital & saw old Maurice. Home by taxi with Aunty. All went to dinner at "Rendez-Vous" where Mrs. V. & Margaret joined us. Then to see "Theodore & Co." – as good as ever. Supper at the Strand Palace. Saw the others in to their tube & walked to my hotel.
