Sunday 14 January 1917
Breakfast in bed.
Walked over to the hospital with Burrell & saw Haycroft about my ears. He packed them with oil & wool so that I am very deaf.
Wrote letters after lunch.
We had the Portuguese to dinner.
The C.O. [Commanding Officer] spoke to me about my transfer. He doesn't want me to go, but I told him exactly how I feel about it.
Letters
