Up at 8.30. After breakfast Leon came in a car & he & I drove to St. James, Spanish Place for the wedding. The rain just stopped till after the wedding. Back to Mount Street for breakfast & saw them safely off at 12.30. Drove to Porchester Terrace & had lunch with Aunty. Maurice writes very cheerily & expects to be in England in about 3 weeks. Had a sleep before tea. Caught the 4.55 to Oxford. Drove to the Clarendon & met Pethy, Buck & Marbury & had dinner with them at Buols. Marbury, Buck & I went to the Pictures after. Drove back to camp in the Morgan.
