Sunday 17 June 1917
Very Hot day.
Up at 11. Long sleep – very tired. Went to 12 Mass at Farm Street. Took Aunty, the girls & Maurice to lunch at the Berkley. After lunch went to see Mrs. Toohey. Back to Porchester Terrace & got my bag & walked to Paddington & caught the 4 train. Arrived Oxford at 5.30. Taxi to aerodrome. Gave about 40 minutes dual. Stayed at the aerodrome till 10.30 trying to telephone to Moir who had landed at Rendcomb. Dinner at 11.
