Tuesday 20 February 1917
Up at half past ten – very weary. Dull misty rainy day. Wrote a letter & just loafed before lunch. After lunch went to the post office with Mary and then to the Palace West Pier where we listened to the orchestra & met Aunty & Cicely. After the concert we walked round & had tea at a little cafe which was very nice. I went off to try & get seats for some show but there were no decent shows on. We to the Metropole & had a hair cut. Taxi back to dinner & a quiet evening.
