Tuesday 16 January 1917
Breakfast in bed. Got up about 11. Loafed all day. Spent some time in the sheds looking over my new machine. A very misty day. Brigade doctor came & told me not to fly for a day or two yet.
Farewell party to Gordon, who goes to 9th Wing on promotion, & Wadlow who goes home to fly. Dear old Gordy will be a great loss to us.
