Thursday 26 April 1917
Up at 9.30. To aerodrome. Very foggy. Went to town by car with Brocklehurst. Had lunch with him, Sir Philip B. & his wife & Colmore & his wife at the Berkley. Taxi to the Empire Hospital & saw Keith Ferguson. He is very fit though he was badly wounded. Met Brock at his flat at 4. Went off in the car with him to do some shopping. Got two punctures! Left the car to be fixed. Went to tea with Lady Mitford. Drove back to aerodrome about 7. During the day Saunders has crashed the Mono Avro, Russell an RE8, & another man the 2E!
Stayed in in evening.
