Sunday 15 July 1917
Up at 6.30 for early flying. Gave Livock some landings. Back to camp & had a swim before breakfast. To aerodrome after breakfast & worked on RE8 & various jobs in the flight till lunch time. Very windy so no flying, In afternoon slept till 6. To aerodrome except a short test of my engine. Slept all afternoon till 6. To aerodrome but wind was still very strong so practically no flying. Lt. Clark crashed a 2E – blown over on the ground by the wind. Back to dinner about 8.30. Had a bit of a rag round the camp after.
