Saturday 10 March 1917
Up at 8.30 & to the aerodrome after breakfast. Very heavy mist so no flying. Did various jobs during the morning. Went to London by the 2.26 train & got a taxi to Holborn Viaduct Station, where I got my motorbike. Rode back to Croydon. A very wet & muddy journey. Had tea & stayed in during the evening. The C.O. is back from Hythe.
