Wednesday 31 October 1917
Up at 7 for early flying. Sgt. Rogers crashed a Fighter landing. Thick mist stopped flying about 8. After breakfast it cleared and we had some good flying. Made three flights myself at various times. Dropped a note to Mrs. Vidal. After tea drove to Barnsley with Segrave. Saw the Vidals for a while. Drove back to camp dropping Segrave on the way. After dinner went to bed fairly early.
Segrave goes to Beaulieu tomorrow to take over 59 T.S. [Training Squadron ?] The Colonel goes overseas tomorrow.
