Tuesday 3 July 1917
Up at 9. Too "dud" for early flying. Tested various RE's during the day. Gave dual to Schorah & Barker. Old Burrell turned up on a Shorthorn from Castle Bromwich. Awfully glad to see him.
Had a swim before tea. Strong wind all day but Etheridge & Northam finished off their time. Stayed at aerodrome till 10 & then back to dinner.
