Sunday, 7 January 1917
Up at 9. Very misty & a fair amount of clouds. Went off at 11.40 to take Bennett on a practice reconnaissance. Landed at 1.10. Off again with Wadlow at 2.10 to do a special registration on Ferme de Biez. [Ferme du Biez] Had quite a good shoot though clouds stopped it for a while. Dropped two bombs on Bois de Biez [Bois du Biez] & Wadlow fired seven drums on the Hun trenches. Landed at 3.55. Atkinson's machine caught fire this morning so he isn't back yet!
