Friday 20 April 1917
Up at 9. Fairly fine day & plenty of flying. At aerodrome all morning & afternoon. Pearson left about 3.30 & did seven loops before he went away! Went up to test the BE12A. Down to tea about 6 & back to the aerodrome after. Dinner about 8.30. Several strangers landed on the aerodrome during the day – a DH4, a Bristol, a Sopworth Pup, a BE2E, & a Martinsyde & an FE2b!
Cabled Father.
Smythe & Cooper are now reported as wounded.
