Tuesday 12 June 1917Very misty in early morning & most of the day. Got up about 9. Cleared a bit about midday. Gave Brown some landings before lunch. In afternoon it was raining a bit but cleared up later. Gave Brown more landings. Took Hearn up for a few landings & gave Shanks a lot of landings. Altogether did four hours during the day. Brown went solo & did very well. Left the aerodrome at 9.45. To bed after dinner.
