Monday 30 July 1917Raining hard. Slept late. To aerodrome about 11. Did various job. Went to Oxford with Pethy for before lunch & did some shopping. Met "Bull" Durham & had lunch with him at Queens College. Drove to Hospital on way back & saw old Barnes who is getting on well. Back to aerodrome till about 6. To camp for tea & then wrote letters. To bed early.Letter to Mr. Pearson
