Thursday 26 July 1917Up at 6 for early flying & gave dual to L.F. Clarke. Low clouds about during most of the day. A fair amount of flying & plenty of work to do.In evening gave L.F. Clarke more dual. Not good enough for solo, on account of low clouds.To dinner about 9.30. Guest night in the mess – a cheery evening.
