Tuesday 30 October 1917
Up at 9. Very windy. Went out in the car with Segrave to Morton in the Marsh to find our missing Fighters. Had a lovely run through very pretty country. One machine had crashed. One got back to Rendcomb. The other landed at Oxford. No flying in afternoon. Wrote letters before & after dinner. Another mail from home. Great joy!
Letters
From: Mother duplicate No. 4, Mother No. 5, Father Sept. 4th.
To: Aunty Mary, Mr. Ward, Miss Vidal.
