[Page 289]
Saturday 22 September 1917
Very tired. Slept till 10. Did some shopping before lunch. Met Luxton & Mrs. Luxton at Simpson's & had lunch with them & went to a matinee of "Inside the Lines" – a fair show. Tea at the Trocadero. Taxi to Porchester Terrace. Dinner at "Les Gobelins" with Bryan, Aunty & the girls. To the Palace to see "Airs & Graces" – an excellent revue. Gertie Millar is splendid. One of the best shows I've seen. Home by taxi.
