on its front page. This was followed by a long quote from a Liberal official, who claimed that:
"Many members of the community are voicing their dissent over this action, and these voices not only include members of the Liberal Party, but also members of the Labor Party and the general public.
"These people believe that their Leagues Club should be above politics and that to issue such an invitation at this time , when an election is in full swing, is but to align them with particular issues and philosophy."
As usual, we were not given an opportunity to reply in the same article, but a rebuttal from Kerry Sibraa was run three days later, headed"
