stamps (unused) which you might keep for me. As soon as I get a chance I will send you a set of Egyptian coins. I nearly had a set when I was stuck for money and had to break into some coins I had set aside. Still there is no hurry for I believe we are here for another two months yet.
I forgot to mention in connection with the ceremony on the 20th inst. that our old Colonel was so pleased with the way we marched etc that he gave us a full day's leave on the 21st. This gave me an opportunity of seeking places that are not open at night time.
First of all I visited the Museum of Antiquities. This place I really cannot describe for there are so many items of interest, that it would take volumes to go through them. From this place I went to the Citadel. This is a high fort within the ...
