There is a list of his discoveries in Nelson's Encyclopaedia under the heading of Crete. The jewels are wonderful being carved (concave) to represent heads and figures. The most minute detail being shown in every case. Until this visit I never imagined Cretan art was of such a high standard nearly two thousand years before Greek
