Mrs. Moore wrote during the week to say she & Nora were coming to London to attend the wedding of one of their friends, then on to Salisbury on Saturday night. Back & I went in last night to meet them. Unfortunately I was not able to take Jane, as she has been in bed the last few days. On Thursday I had to get the Dr. up. Jane did such a lot of rushing about in France, trying to see all her relations that she knocked herself up & on top of them that caught a chill on the stomach. She is much better now & today we are going to meet Mrs. Moore, Nora, Lieut Ealey & his sister at the George Hotel, Amesbury, & have lunch with them. Ealey & his sister have been staying at Greenhall & came down with the Moores. They are going to their home in Devon
