At the present time I am staying with Mrs Knight. €“ Penn's sister. He came to dinner last night and naturally we had many a talk over old times. He is going to send me one of your letters to him, for I have not heard from you yet. He was saying that, so far as he knows you had not received any of the photos I have sent you at various times. I sincerely hope they have all turned up by now because some of them will be of great interest in days to come especially those of Anzac. I quite forgot to post you that book of views of Oxford, but will do so this week.
Last Sunday we all went to hear Bach's Christmas Oratorio at the Sheldonian theatre. It was simply glorious. Two hundred performers took part, that is both vocal and instrumental. The choral parts were
